Xixi QI

Xixi Qi's work experience begins in 2017 as a Research Assistant in Crystallography Chemistry at CNRS - Centre national de la recherche scientifique. In 2018, they worked as a Research Assistant in Plasma Physics & Chemistry at The University of British Columbia. In 2019, Xixi took on the role of a Research Assistant in Spectroscopy Chemistry at Centre national de la recherche scientifique. Additionally, in the same year, they started a PhD position in Materials Physics & Quantum Chemistry at CEA. During their PhD, Xixi worked on a numerical study of nuclear irradiation's impact on materials and contributed to the expansion of a calculation program. They verified convergence parameters and benchmarked the code with published studies, resulting in collaboration that led to a publication in a prestigious journal. Currently, Xixi is employed as a Data Engineer at Pelico starting in 2022.

Xixi Qi completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Chemistry from Pierre and Marie Curie University in 2017. In the same year, they also obtained a University diploma in Contemporary French and Literature from Université Paris Nanterre. Xixi then pursued a Master's degree in Condensed Matter and Materials Physics from Sorbonne Université from 2017 to 2019. From 2019 to 2022, Xixi Qi attended Université Paris-Saclay and completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Condensed Matter and Materials Physics.

In terms of additional certifications, Xixi Qi obtained a CLES level B2 in English from the Ministère de l'Enseignement Supérieur et de la Recherche (France) in July 2015. Xixi also achieved a TOEFL test score of 104 out of 120 in November 2018. Furthermore, they completed various online courses, including "Machine learning" from Stanford University - Ng Andrew in May 2020, "Financial markets" from Yale University - Robert Shiller in January 2021, "Databases and SQL for Data Science with Python" from IBM in January 2022, and "Bayesian Statistics: From Concept to Data Analysis" and "Bayesian Statistics: Techniques and Models" from the University of California with honors in March and April 2022, respectively. Xixi also obtained a certification in "Corporate Finance Essentials" from IESE Business School in March 2022.
