Pat has over 40 years of experience as an entrepreneur and executive leader of healthcare service companies. He currently serves as the executive chairman of Press Ganey, a healthcare performance improvement firm, at which he previously served as CEO. Under his leadership, Press Ganey went public in 2015, and was taken private in 2016 in an acquisition by EQT for $2.35 billion. In 2019, Pat led the acquisition of the company by Ares Management and Leonard Green Partners.
Prior to joining Press Ganey, Pat served as CEO of several successful healthcare service companies, including The Broadlane Group, PolyMedica Corporation, and Physicians Dialysis, a former FFC portfolio company. He has served as a board member for the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Lahey Health, Atrius Health, Hill-Rom, Sound Physicians, American Renal Associates and Affiliated Managers Group, Inc. Pat has also served as a member of the Massachusetts Hospital Association’s Committee on Governance and the Nashville Healthcare Council.
