Ben Tan

Ben Tan is a seasoned mechanical engineering professional currently serving as the Senior Manager of Mechanical Engineering at Peloton Interactive since February 2023. Previously, Ben held various engineering roles at Amazon from September 2019 to January 2023, including Manager of Product Design Engineering and Senior Product Design Engineer for Amazon Glow. Ben's experience also encompasses positions at Amazon Lab126 as a Product Design Engineer and Design Analysis Engineer, where contributions included structural design analysis and product reliability. Additionally, Ben acted as Mentorship Director at StartX, a non-profit supporting Stanford entrepreneurs, and worked in academic roles as an instructor and research assistant at Columbia University and The Princeton Review Taiwan. Ben holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Columbia University.
