Kenny Kang

Kenny Kang is a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Peloton Interactive since February 2021, with a strong background in machine learning and software engineering. Significant achievements include the development of a data-efficient Machine Translation system that expanded translated subtitles coverage from 10% to 100%, as well as building a CI/CD pipeline for model deployment. Prior experiences include refining Automated Speech Recognition models to save $1.5 million annually, transitioning the ML team to transformer-based Natural Language Understanding models, and optimizing Azure ASR models for voice control. Previous roles at Aiqudo involved benchmarking NLU capabilities and developing semantic parsing algorithms. Kenny earned a Bachelor's degree in Data Science from the University of California, Berkeley, in May 2020 and graduated from Crescenta Valley High School in 2016.
