Barbara Grover

Barbara Grover has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of audit, compliance, and risk consulting. Barbara most recently served as the Head of Internal Audit at Pembina Pipeline Corporation since July 2023. Prior to that, they worked as the Senior Manager SOX & Internal Audit at TC Energy from July 2018 to July 2023. Barbara also has experience in the sports industry, having served as a Former Member of the Board of Governors at Canada's Sports Hall of Fame from May 2017 to May 2019. Barbara has held various positions at Repsol, Talisman Energy, and Arthur Andersen LLP, where they gained expertise in audit, compliance, and corporate controls. Notably, they played a significant role in transforming Talisman Energy's audit department into a value-added risk-based assurance and advisory function for senior management and the board. Barbara has a strong background in risk management and a solid understanding of international financial reporting standards (IFRS).

Barbara Grover has a strong education background in accounting and internal auditing. In 1988-1989, they earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree with Distinction from the University of Alberta, specializing in accounting. In 1998-1999, they obtained certification as a Certified Internal Auditor from the Institute of Internal Auditors. Barbara also attended Red Deer College in 1985-1986, where they studied Business Administration.
