C. Ian Balfour has a diverse work experience. C. Ian started their career as a Para-Alpine Athlete with Alpine Canada Alpin from 1994 to 2002. C. Ian then worked as an Associate Legal Counsel at Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP from 2006 to 2010. After that, they joined Pembina Pipeline Corporation, where they held several roles, including Legal Counsel from 2010 to 2012, Business Development in Conventional Pipelines from 2012 to 2017, Vice President of Gas Services from 2018 to 2020, Vice President of Conventional Pipelines from 2020 to 2023, and currently serves as the Vice President of the NGL Business Unit.
