Mat Lynch

Mat has responsibility for financial and commercial analysis, business development and provides advice to the executive team. Mat has experience in the resources industry focusing on valuations, financial modelling and capital raisings through equity and debt markets. He has acted as a technical expert on several resource types including metallurgical coal, gold and manganese. Mat has a diverse background gained as an exploration and resource geologist in coal and gas assets, and as an equities portfolio manager. Prior to Joining Pembroke, Mat consulted as an expert mining analyst to several companies including BDO Australia, Yancoal, Anglo American, BHP, IFC (part of World Bank), Stanwell Corporation and others. Mat has a Bachelor of Applied Science (Geoscience) and a Masters of Applied Science (Structural Geology), both from Queensland University of Technology as well as a Bachelor of International Finance from Griffith University. He holds the designation of Chartered Financial Analyst®.
