Simon Hancock

Simon Hancock is a County Councillor at Pembrokeshire County Council. Simon has previously served as an Independent Board Member for the Hywel Dda University Health Board, the Pembrokeshire Blind Society, and Pembrokeshire County Council. Simon also served as Chairman of Council for Pembrokeshire County Council from May 2019 to May 2021. Additionally, they have been a Board Member for the Care Council for Wales, West Wales Care & Repair, and Pembrokeshire County Theirtory Trust. Their experience also includes working for the Haverfordwest Civic Society, PEMBROKESHIRE MENCAP LTD., Torch Theatre, Haverfordwest Town Museum, HOPE Multiple Sclerosis Charity, and Promoting Pembrokeshire Heritage.

Simon Hancock has a Ph.D. in Modern Welsh Theirtory from Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd, an MA with distinction from the University of Wales Trinity Saint David, and a BA with first class Honours from The Open University. Simon also went to Milford Haven Grammar School.
