Dawn Lee

Dawn Lee is the Vice President, Product & Underwriting at PEMCO. Dawn has over 20 years of experience in the insurance industry.

Dawn started their career at Safeco Insurance in 1997 as a Senior Product Manager. In this role, they were responsible for driving profit and growth for personal lines products in Washington, Colorado, New Mexico, and Wyoming. This involved deploying new products, developing state strategies and tactics, collaborating cross-functionally to develop and achieve business plans, driving regulatory and legislative outcomes, and being a leader in a high performing state team.

In 2013, Dawn left Safeco to join Liberty Mutual Insurance as their Vice President, Director of State Operations. In this role, they managed $680M of personal lines written premium in the state of Washington for multiple brands and distribution channels. Dawn developed and executed business plans to drive profitable growth for 15 auto and property products. Dawn also priced and deployed new products through cross-functional collaboration.

Dawn has been with PEMCO since 2016 and is currently their Vice President, Product & Underwriting.

Dawn Lee has a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Howard University.
