Michael Norris

Michael Norris is an experienced Information Security professional currently serving as the Information Security Manager at PEMCO since February 2023, where responsibilities include creating security strategies that align with business goals and managing a team of security professionals. Prior to PEMCO, Michael was the first Chief Information Security Officer at LEG-TECH from January 2018 to February 2023, where a comprehensive cybersecurity program was established. Michael also held roles such as IT Security Operations Manager at REI, where a security operations team was developed, and Senior Security Program Manager at MultiCare Health System, focusing on governance, risk management, and compliance. Additional experience includes various roles at Group Health Cooperative, Weyerhaeuser, Thurston County Central Services, and the Washington State Senate, with a foundational education in Computer Science from The Evergreen State College.
