Charles Blackwell

Charles Blackwell has worked as a Chief Risk Officer (CRO) at Pen Air Federal Credit Union since March 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Chief Compliance Officer at First Bank and Trust from June 2013 to March 2022. Charles also has experience as a Senior Director at The Receivables Exchange from October 2012 to June 2013, as a Financial Analyst at First NBC Bank from November 2011 to September 2012, and as a Chief Financial Officer at Central Progressive Bank from December 2007 to November 2011.

Charles Blackwell completed their education at Louisiana State University. In 1999, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in History. Later, in 2001, they obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) in Finance from the same institution. Additionally, Charles Blackwell received a certification as a Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) from the American Bankers Association in 2021.
