Julian Acosta

Julian Acosta is a Front End Software Engineer at PenChecks. Prior to joining PenChecks, Julian was a Web Developer at alwaysAI from June 2020 to November 2021. In this role, Julian ensured effective quality control and allocation of internal and client resources. Julian also acted as the main point of contact with clients regarding project delivery, project status, and schedule.

Before alwaysAI, Julian worked as a Technology Project Manager at Red Door Interactive from February 2017 to November 2019. In this role, they led technology projects in a deadline driven environment that married digital technology and physical production. Julian also coordinated a large-scale project for a Fortune 500 company from inception through completion and was responsible for reporting project status to senior management. Additionally, Julian maintained and enhanced client websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.

Julian began their career as a Technology Project Manager at RR Donnelley in July 2012, where they worked for five years before joining Red Door Interactive.

Julian Acosta has a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Maryland and is currently pursuing a Full-Stack Web Development degree from UC San Diego Extended Studies.

Their manager is Darryl Kuhn, CTO. Julian Acosta works with David Peace - PT Senior Software Engineer, 2 Contractors - Programmers, and Shaun Ellis - Senior Software Engineer.
