Jessica Bynoe

Jessica Bynoe has had extensive work experience in various non-profit organizations. Jessica started their career as a Research and Evaluation Assistant at Community Resource Exchange in 2002. In 2003, they joined AED as a Program Officer, Youth Engagement, where they developed and executed programming and business development plans for youth initiatives. From 2009 to 2011, Jessica worked at Usher's New Look Foundation as the Director of Programs and Strategic Operations, where they managed a team and raised $1.5 million in funding. Jessica then joined Variety the Children's Charity of New York in 2011 as the Executive Director, overseeing all organizational elements and significantly increasing the organization's impact and revenue. Since 2017, Jessica has been working at PENCIL, Inc., initially as the Vice President of Programs/Chief Program Officer and currently as the VP & Chief Strategy Officer, leading the development and execution of the organization's strategic plan.

Jessica Bynoe holds a Master of Public Administration (M.P.A.) degree in Non-Profit/Public/Organizational Management from NYU Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and Metropolitan Studies from New York University. Additionally, they have received a certification in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the Workplace from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education in May 2021.
