Sai Ungarala

Sai joined the Pendant team in January 2021 as a software developer with the primary role of continuing the development of the Revolution Street WXS application. Growing up in Hyderabad, Sai exuberantly brings the flavors of India (pretty much every day) into Pendant’s office in Havre de Grace.

Sai loves working at Pendant because of the awesome people and work environment, but more so because at least once a month for the monthly leadership team meeting, the entire team is treated to Chick-Fil-A (more on that later).

A self-described movie buff, Sai says his favorite movie is Pirates of the Caribbean, because “he is Jack Sparrow”. This author takes issue with Sai’s status as movie buff due to dozens of broken promises over the past year on Sai’s part to watch highly recommended movies, often leading to extreme sadness on Monday mornings when he confirms that, yet again, he didn’t watch the movie. This may not be entirely his fault, as Sai also claims a passion for hibernation, which probably leaves little time for movie buffing. But we’ll keep trying. (Side question – is it possible to hibernate passionately?)
