Kostadin Filev is an experienced Human Resources Officer currently working at Penderels Trust, a charitable organization focused on disability support, since October 2021. Previously, Kostadin served as an HR Intern at Focus Birmingham from June 2013 to October 2021, where responsibilities included managing HR database software and providing training for managers. Kostadin holds a Master of Science in Human Resource Management and Business from Aston University and a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science and Economics from the American University in Bulgaria. Prior to entering the HR field, Kostadin worked as a Financial Consultant at ING and contributed to charity work through volunteer efforts with children in orphanages, as well as event management and direct sales roles at the International Fair Plovdiv.

Penderels Trust offers advice, guidance and practical solutions to enable people with disabilities to live independently in their own homes, to achieve their goals in life and help them to play an active part in their community. We are a not-for-profit organisation and have been a leading provider of advice and guidance to people with disabilities and older people for over twenty years. We offer a number of services to support people make the most of their personal budget/direct payment, from advice and guidance when employing a personal assistant to money management and training. We have always been committed to designing our services around the needs of the individual and we are constantly evolving these services (or developing new ones) based on the feedback of the people who use them.
