Halla Banafa

Halla Banafa is an experienced professional in the field of social work and mental health, currently serving as the Director of Residential Services at Pendleton Place since August 2017, while also taking on the role of PRN Youth Mentor. Previous experience includes positions as a PRN Clinical Therapist and Clinical Therapist at Greenville Health System from March 2017 to February 2022, and Clinical Team Lead for Assertive Community Treatment at Greenville Mental Health Center from June 2016 to March 2017. Halla Banafa has also worked as a Clinical Counselor specializing in Intensive Case Management at Greenville Mental Health from November 2014 to June 2016, as a Visit Monitor at Pendleton Place, and as a Youth Mentor at Pendleton Place prior to that. Educational accomplishments include a Master of Social Work from the University of South Carolina from 2013 to 2016, and a Bachelor's degree in Experimental Psychology with a Minor in Child Advocacy from the University of South Carolina Upstate from 2011 to 2013.
