Ammar Haris

Ammar Haris is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in software engineering and leadership. Currently serving as the VP of Engineering at Pendulum since January 2022, Ammar focuses on leveraging machine learning and natural language processing to combat harmful narratives. Prior to Pendulum, Ammar held significant roles at eSentire, including Vice President of Software Engineering and Director of Engineering, where eSentire acquired Versive to enhance cybersecurity solutions. Ammar's career also includes pivotal contributions at Hitachi Vantara in developing the Lumada 2.0 Industrial IoT Platform, key positions at Salesforce on the Search Relevancy Team, and early tenure at Microsoft, working on advancements for its Interactive Entertainment and Bing Ads divisions. Ammar holds a Bachelor of Science (Honors) in Computer Sciences from Lahore University of Management Sciences, obtained in 2008.
