Mark Stevens has a diverse work background in the healthcare field. Mark started their career in 2008 as a Health Care Specialist (Combat Medic) in the US Army, where they served until 2012. Afterwards, they joined the Milwaukee Center for Independence in 2014, initially as a Registered Nurse before progressing to roles like Float/Charge Nurse, Clinical Nurse Supervisor, and ultimately Clinical Manager. In this capacity, Mark was responsible for managing and supervising clinical operations. Most recently, they joined Penfield Children's Center as the Director of Health Services in November 2022.

Mark Stevens holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, which they completed in 2012. Mark further pursued their education at the same university and obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Health Care Management in 2020.
