Bo Jakubenko has a diverse work experience in various roles within the marketing and brand strategy field. Bo started their career at Asahi Beverages in 2009, where they held various positions across brand, shopper, sales, and insights until 2015. Bo then joined Treasury Wine Estates as the European and Global Marketing Manager, responsible for developing brand strategies for Blossom Hill, Lindeman's, and Wolf Blass, as well as incubating two innovation brands. In 2019, Bo joined Penfolds, initially as a Global Marketing Manager and later as the Head of Marketing, Global Brand Strategy, Innovation & Insights. In their current role as the Global Brand Director, Bo provides visionary leadership for Penfolds, overseeing brand strategy, portfolio strategy, innovation, brand communication, partnerships, activations, public relations, and consumer insights.
Bo Jakubenko has a double degree in a Bachelor of Business (Marketing) and Bachelor of Arts (Sociology/Behavioural Studies) from Monash University, where they majored in Marketing, Sociology, and Behavioural Studies. They also completed the WSET Level 2 Award in Wines and Spirits from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust. Additionally, Bo attended the International Marketing Leaders Programme - Brand Learning in London and the Marketing Week Mini MBA with Mark Ritson in 2023.
