Yin Li is a Research Scientist at Peng Cheng Laboratory since October 2022, with prior experience as a Flatiron Research Fellow at the Simons Foundation from September 2019 to August 2022. Yin served as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of California, Berkeley, and the University of Tokyo from October 2015 to September 2019, contributing to research in cosmological physics. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Physics from the University of Chicago (2009-2015) and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Physics from Peking University (2005-2009).

Peng Cheng Laboratory is a new type of research institution in the field of network communication and Artificial Intelligence in China, mainly engaged in strategic, forward-looking, basic major scientific problems and key core technology research in this field, is an important part of the national strategic science and technology forces. The laboratory is headquartered in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province. The main research directions are network communication, cyberspace and network intelligence. Peng Cheng Laboratory headquarters was started in March 2018. It currently brings together 31 academicians, more than 160 international congressmen, national brilliant youth and other high-end talents, and gathers more than 1,800 various talents in the form of full-time, dual-employment and part-time market-oriented employment. It has undertaken a number of major national scientific research projects, and initially built a number of large scientific infrastructure represented by the “Peng Cheng Cloud Brain”.
