Ana Zumalacárregui Arauz has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Ana first worked as a TV News Producer at Europa Press from January 2013 to September 2013, where they managed a team, assessed the reach of information, and created content based on social impact monitoring.

After that, they joined Editorial ECCO (Estudio de Comunicación Corporativa) as a Digital Marketing Account Executive from May 2014 to May 2015. In this role, they devised and deployed digital marketing campaigns, created engaging content, and measured the social impact and information reach.

Next, Ana worked at Hitachi, starting in June 2015 as a Trade Marketing Executive focused on the distribution channel. Ana developed marketing materials for point of sale (POS), designed incentive plans, and handled trade marketing activities. From May 2017 to June 2019, they worked as a Product Manager and Trade Marketing professional, responsible for developing product launching plans for the commercial range of HITACHI Air Conditioning. Ana also conducted benchmark studies analysis and managed product trainings for customers and sales teams.

Most recently, Ana joined Penguin Random House Grupo Editorial in June 2019 as a Product Manager Trade Marketing. Their responsibilities include contributing to the organization's objectives and improving market share and sales performance. Ana collaborates with commercial and product teams to establish channel strategies and plans. Ana is responsible for developing and implementing the Trade Marketing Plan, which includes activities such as POS material, promotions, and ATL & BTL activities for all imprints. Ana continues to work in this role as of December 2021.

Ana Zumalacárregui Arauz has a strong educational background in marketing and journalism. In 2019, they obtained a Master's degree in Marketing and Sales Management from ESIC Business & Marketing School. Ana previously earned a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from Universidad Francisco de Vitoria, graduating between 2009 and 2013. In 2016, they completed a specialization course in Marketing and Sales Management at Escuela de Negocios y Dirección de la UEMC. Ana also completed a university course in Digital Marketing and Communication 2.0 at the same institution from 2015 to 2016. In terms of language proficiency, they achieved an advanced level of English after completing a program at the University of California, Berkeley in 2013. Additionally, they obtained the TOEFL certification from ETS in May 2014.
