Alan Parvin

HPC Solutions Architect - Federal Systems at Penguin Solutions

Alan Parvin has extensive work experience in the IT industry. Starting in 1979, they worked as an IT Customer Service Manager at Printer Systems Corporation, where they managed a team and developed policies and procedures. Alan then worked as an IT Account Sales Executive at ABAMoriah, followed by a role as an IT Federal Sales Executive at Pioneer-Standard Electronics. At GTSI, they served as an IT Federal Systems Engineer and later as an IT Federal Sales Executive, where they managed technical requirements and delivered sales presentations to government agencies. Alan then joined Lenovo (formerly IBM Corporation) as an Enterprise Solutions Engineer and IBM Client Technical Engineer, where they provided end-to-end engineering support and architectural design for commercial customers. Alan also led the Pentagon Renovation Server Consolidation project, receiving letters of recommendation for their work. Currently, they work at Penguin Computing as an HPC Sr. Solutions Architect, providing pre-sales and post-sales support for HPC solutions.

Alan Parvin has a history of pursuing education in the field of Information Technology. From 2005 to 2007, they attended Northern Virginia Community College for their studies in Information Technology. Alan later enrolled at Strayer University from 2008 to 2010, where they focused on Information Technology as well.

In addition to their education, Alan Parvin has obtained several certifications. In 2016, they earned the Nutanix Platform Professional (NPP) certification from Nutanix, as well as the Nutanix Platform Sales Engineer (NPSE) certification from the same institution. Additionally, they hold the IBM Certified IT Level II Technical Specialist certification, achieved in 2009 and 2012 from IBM.
