Daniel Wall

Daniel Wall has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies. Daniel is currently employed as a Product Support Engineer at Penguin Computing since 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Kansys, Inc. from 2015 to 2022, holding positions such as Senior Information Technology Analyst, Senior Linux System Administrator, and System Engineer. Daniel also worked at Landis+Gyr from 2014 to 2015 as a Unix Systems Administrator III, responsible for setting up, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting servers. Before that, they served as a Systems Engineer at Maryville Technologies from 2012 to 2013, where they were involved in setting up and configuring various systems. Daniel also had a previous stint at Landis+Gyr from 2011 to 2012 as a Unix Systems Administrator III, managing Solaris configured servers and performing backup tasks. Prior to that, they worked at Sprint Nextel from 2007 to 2011 as an ENT SVCS SYS ADMR II, handling UNIX system administration and load balancer configuration. Daniel began their career as a Field Service Engineer at Comverse from 2005 to 2007, providing technical support to customers. Daniel'searlier experience includes working as a Systems Integrator at Sprint from 1999 to 2005, and serving as a Sergeant in the Army from 1987 to 1999.

Daniel Wall completed their Bachelors degree in Information Technology from National American University, from the year 2003 to 2007. In addition to their degree, they also obtained several certifications including the HP Accredited Integration Specialist Server Automation V9 from HP ExpertOne in January 2013, the ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from EXIN in October 2012, and the Cisco Certified Technician Routing and Switching from Cisco in February 2013.
