Tom Ireland

Tom Ireland has over 30 years of work experience in sales and management roles in the technology industry. Tom began their career at Tektronix, Inc. in 1981, where they held various positions in engineering and sales/marketing for 11 years. Tom then joined SGI as a Sales Manager and remained with the company for 15 years. In 2007, Tom became the Director of Federal Sales at BlueArc and served in this role until 2011. Tom then joined Hitachi Data Systems as the Director of Federal Sales - NAS, and later transitioned to the role of District Sales Manager - Federal Civilian Agencies. Tom joined Oracle in 2015 as the Civilian Sales Manager - Hardware and worked there until 2017. Following that, they worked at Virtustream as an Account Manager for USAF and Civilian Agencies for a year. Tom's most recent position is at Penguin Computing, where they started in 2018 as an Account Manager and is currently the VP Federal Sales.

Tom Ireland attended Stanford University from 1977 to 1981. Tom obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering and Biology during their time there.
