Head Chef at Penha Longa Resort

Tiago Santos is an experienced culinary professional currently serving as the Head Chef at Penha Longa Resort's Midori Restaurant, which holds 1 Michelin Star, since January 2018. Prior roles at Penha Longa Resort include Sous Chef and Junior Sous Chef at Midori, as well as Junior Sous Chef for banquets and events, and various positions within other resort restaurants. Tiago's earlier experience includes key roles at the José Avillez Group, where contributions were made to Belcanto Restaurant (2 Michelin Stars) and Cantinho do Avillez. Additionally, Tiago completed an internship at Nerua Restaurant (1 Michelin Star) in the Museo Guggenheim Bilbao. Tiago holds a degree in Kitchen Management and Production from Escola de Hotelaria e Turismo do Estoril.
