Matthew Rutherford is an experienced regulatory policy manager currently serving as the Manager of Regulatory Policy at Peninsula Clean Energy since June 2020, after holding roles as a Senior Regulatory Analyst and Regulatory Analyst. Previously, Matthew held the position of Manager of Regulatory Compliance at Stowe Electric Department from February 2014 to May 2020, where responsibilities included participating in state regulatory dockets, leading the development of reports and filings, delivering presentations, and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Prior to this, Matthew worked as a Research Associate at the Institute for Energy and the Environment, contributing to the US Department of Energy's Sun Shot Initiative. Matthew holds a Master of Environmental Law and Policy and a Certificate in Energy Law from Vermont Law and Graduate School, as well as a BA in History from the University of Connecticut.

Peninsula Clean Energy offers low rates and the added benefit of two electricity options, each with a different percentage of sustainable energy.
