Peninsula Hot Springs

Peninsula Hot Springs is the first natural hot springs and day spa centre in Victoria, just 75 minutes from Melbourne. Experience over 50 globally-inspired bathing experiences and wellness activities in the Bath House or unwind with tranquil bathing and pampering spa treatments in the Spa Dreaming Centre. Peninsula Hot Springs was founded by brothers Charles and Richard Davidson in 1997. The inspiration for the project began when Charles visited several hot springs while living in Japan in 1992. This sparked several years of touring and studying of hot springs around the world. In 1997 the two brothers formed a partnership and they bought the 42 acre site on which Peninsula Hot Springs now stands. The Davidson brothers then found an investor, Norm Cleland, and together proceeded to build the Stage One Spa Dreaming Centre facility, which opened in 2005. In December 2009, the second stage Bath House centre opened, vastly increasing the number of bathing experiences on offer. At the end of 2014, after many years dedicated to the foundation and evolution of Peninsula Hot Springs, Richard Davidson and Norm Cleland moved on to pursue new interests. Bharat Mitra and Bhavani Lev owners and founders of Organic India joined Charles Davidson to continue to develop and evolve Peninsula Hot Springs into a world-leader in the spa, wellness and hot springs industries. Future plans include an increase in bathing experiences, the introduction of accommodation, a food bowl and more.
