Jordan Shenker

Jordan brings an impressive career of national JCC experience and expertise leading organizations across the country and contributing as an executive with the Jewish Community Center Association (JCCA).

Jordan has served the JCC world for more than 30 years. He is currently completing his role as CEO of one of the largest JCCs in the country – the Kaplen JCC on the Palisades, in Tenafly, New Jersey – where he led for the past six years. Prior to New Jersey, Jordan helped guide the JCC movement as Senior Vice President of Community Services for JCCA in New York, overseeing consultation and executive placement for all 175 JCCs across the country.

Previously, Jordan served as CEO for the JCC in Richmond, Virginia, and contributed to JCC operations in Houston, Texas and in his hometown of Portland, Oregon. Jordan is a much-sought-after speaker and educator. He has presented at regional and national conferences, and taught non-profit management, marketing, and professional development as a guest lecturer at the University of Richmond.
