Ekongkar Singh Khalsa

EkOngKar Singh Khalsa is a seasoned professional in land conservation and real estate development, currently serving as the Senior Land Transactions Manager at the Peninsula Open Space Trust since September 2020, focusing on complex transactions to enhance land conservation. Previously, as the Executive Director of the Amah Mutsun Land Trust from October 2016 to September 2020, EkOngKar managed organizational capacity to engage tribal members in stewardship and protection of culturally significant landscapes. Between March 2008 and September 2016, EkOngKar led the Mystic River Watershed Association to protect and restore the Mystic River and its watershed. Prior roles include Director of Real Estate Development at Hallmark Companies Inc. and Director of Marketing and Branch Manager at Land Planning & Engineering Inc. EkOngKar holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Oregon and has pursued professional development at Harvard University's Graduate School of Design.
