Joanna Devers

Director Of Institutional Engagement at Peninsula Open Space Trust (POST)

Joanna Devers has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of conservation and institutional engagement. Joanna began their career at The Nature Conservancy, where they worked as a Development Associate for five years. Joanna then joined The Big Sur Land Trust, holding several roles including Land Acquisitions Manager, Assistant Director, and Conservation Program Consultant. In 2014, they founded their own consulting firm called Devers Consulting, where they served as the Principal. Joanna also worked as a Principal at Conservation Collaborative from 2014 to 2016. Joanna's most recent position is with Peninsula Open Space Trust (POST), where they currently hold the role of Director of Institutional Engagement.

Joanna Devers obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Latin American Studies from the University of Maryland, where they studied from 1992 to 1996. Following this, they pursued a Master of Arts in International Environmental Policy from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey, attending from 2003 to 2005.
