Lawrence D. Sher

Dr. Lawrence D. Sher received his medical degree from the University of Utah School of Medicine in 1983. He completed his residency in pediatrics at the University of California Los Angeles in 1987 and his fellowship in Allergy and Immunology at the University of California Los Angeles.

Dr. Sher is board-certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and the American Board of Allergy and Immunology. He holds fellowships with the American Academy of Pediatrics, American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology and the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology.

Since opening the doors to Peninsula Research Associates in 1999, Dr. Sher has served as the principal investigator for over 200 clinical research trials focusing on conditions such as allergic rhinitis, asthma, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, hypertension, otitis media, pneumonia and sinusitis. The results of many of these trials have contributed to new medications and devices being placed on the market for the general public.
