Scott Shelhart

Scott Shelhart is an experienced educator currently teaching Machining, Welding, and Robotics at Penn High School since August 2018. Previously, from September 2000 to June 2019, Scott served as a Calibration Technician at US Steel, where responsibilities included calibrating and repairing industrial test equipment. Scott also contributed to Kankakee Valley School Corporation as a Student Teacher in late 2011 and as a Substitute Teacher from October 2006 to March 2011, covering all K-12 grades. Earlier in Scott's career, ownership and technician duties were performed at Consumer Electronics Specialists from April 1994 to June 2000. Scott holds a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College, earned between 2007 and 2012.
