Lead Software Engineer (cloud Project) at Penn Mutual

Harry S. started their work experience in 2006 as a Software Engineer at Satyam Computers Services Ltd. Harry then moved on to Capgemini in 2009, where they worked as a Software Engineer for a brief period. In the same year, they joined Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) as a Sr. Software Engineer. At CSC, Harry supervised a team of offshore developers and acted as a subject matter expert at Allstate Life Insurance. Harry also played a key role in revamping system design and participated in project walk-through meetings with business sponsors. In 2013, Harry joined Penn Mutual as a Software Engineer and worked on developing Life Insurance products in the Cyberlife platform. Harry then progressed to the role of Lead Software Engineer, working on mainframes, Java, and cloud projects. In their roles at Penn Mutual, Harry collaborated closely with business partners and product owners to understand requirements and develop solutions. Harry contributed as a full stack developer and implemented automation solutions using AWS services. Throughout their career, Harry demonstrated proficiency in coding, testing, and supporting applications, as well as mentoring and training other team members.

Harry S. obtained a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, from 2019 to 2022. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electronics & Communication at Rajiv Gandhi Prodyogiki Vishwavidyalaya from 2002 to 2006. Harry also completed their Higher Secondary education with a focus on Science at Shri Gujrati Samaj H S School in Indore(MP) from 2000 to 2002. Additionally, Harry S. has obtained several certifications, including AWS Certified Developer - Associate, AWS Knowledge: Cloud Essentials, AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate, Amazon Web Services Cloud Practitioner, and IBM DB2 700 Family Fundamental Version 8.1.
