Ryan Adams

Ryan Adams has over 20 years of experience in the technology industry. Ryan began their career as a Customer Service Representative at The Intelligencer before moving into software development internships at The Bionetics Corporation and Insurance Data Processing. Adams then worked as a Software Developer at Towers Watson, where they implemented solutions and supported internal Java applications. Ryan later joined Acurian as a Software Engineer, where they were responsible for architecting, designing, and implementing solutions for various web applications. Adams then transitioned to Penn Mutual, where they held multiple roles including Lead Software Engineer, Director of Software Architecture, Assistant Vice President of Software Architecture, and ultimately, Head of Technology for the Life and Annuities Line of Business. In these roles, they led teams, architected new cloud native platforms and applications, and drove software architecture best practices. Adams has experience in technologies such as Java, Scala, Spark, Cassandra, and Docker, and is familiar with agile methodologies and DevSecOps.
