Aryana C. is a Human Resources Intern at Caterpillar Inc., contributing to Maintenance Components Operations since May 2024, after serving as an SD&D Early Talent Intern at the same company from May to December 2023. Aryana is actively involved in Penn State THON™ as a Student Volunteer and has gained research experience as a Student Researcher at the Penn State School of Labor and Employment Relations. Aryana's earlier roles include receptionist at Penn State Learning, waitress at Higgins Crab House, and various positions in retail and food service, including sales associate at Tillys and shift lead at Cold Stone Creamery. Aryana is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Labor and Human Resources at Penn State University and is a member of the Schreyer Honors College, with an anticipated graduation in May 2025. Additionally, Aryana plans to participate in an IES Abroad program from January to May 2024.

THON is the world’s largest student-run philanthropy, engaging more than 16,000 students and over 25,000 alumni in the fight against childhood cancer. THON’s yearlong fundraising and awareness campaign culminates in a 46-hour no-sitting, no-sleeping dance marathon every February. Since 1977, Penn State students have raised more than $167 million for THON’s sole beneficiary, Four Diamonds at Penn State Children’s Hospital, funding comprehensive care and critical research.
