David Kleppinger

Director at Penn State Health

David Kleppinger is chair emeritus at McNees Wallace & Nurick LLC, a law firm in Harrisburg, Pa., where he served as chair for 12 years. He was appointed to the Penn State board of trustees by Governor Tom Wolf in 2017 and was elected vice chair in 2020. Kleppinger is also a member and past chair of the Penn State Political Science Department’s Board of Visitors and is on the board of the RETTEW Holding Company. His past board service includes the PA Chamber of Business and Industry, where he held positions of chair and vice chair; the Pennsylvania Bar Foundation; Team Pennsylvania Foundation; LINK Foundation; Jonathan Eshenour Foundation; and chair of The Foundation for Enhancing Communities and United Way of the Capital Region.

Kleppinger is a Penn State graduate who earned his Juris Doctor degree from Temple University School of Law.
