Betty Harper

Betty Harper is a seasoned professional in higher education assessment and institutional research, currently serving as the Assistant Vice Provost for Assessment and Assistant Director of Learning Outcomes Assessment at Penn State University since November 2018. With a robust background in strategic planning, Betty has held several key positions at Penn State, including Associate Vice Provost for Planning and Institutional Research, where responsibilities included coordinating strategic initiatives and contributing to the university's accreditation processes. Prior experience includes serving as Executive Assistant at USDA/Pennsylvania Certified Organic and roles focused on research and assessment within higher education. Betty holds a PhD in Higher Education from Penn State University, an MS in Wildlife Ecology, and a BS in Natural Resources Conservation from the University of Florida.
