Dan Cella

Dan Cella, CTP, currently serves as Financial Officer at Penn State University, overseeing financial operations for the Commonwealth Campuses in Altoona and DuBois, Pennsylvania. Cella leads a team of three in financial management and capital planning. Previously, Cella held various positions at Penn State, including Interim Director of Business Development and Director of Finance and Business, managing financial operations and facility management for additional Commonwealth Campuses. Prior to academia, Cella spent over two decades at Bayer, culminating in the role of Director of Treasury Services, where responsibilities included cash management and overseeing a team. Early career experiences include positions at BNY Mellon as a Master Trust Accountant and the Arthritis Foundation as Assistant Accountant. Cella earned a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Robert Morris University and furthered education at the University of Notre Dame's Mendoza College of Business.
