Dr. Anna Ssentongo

NIH T32 Fellow & Assistant Professor Of Public Health Sciences at Penn State University

Dr. Anna Ssentongo, DrPH, MPH, is an accomplished academic and public health professional with a diverse background in research and leadership. Currently serving as an NIH T32 Fellow and Assistant Professor of Public Health Sciences at Penn State University since November 2012, Dr. Ssentongo has held various roles, including Research Scientist within the Division of Trauma, Acute Care, and Critical Care Surgery, and the Center for Neural Engineering. In addition, Dr. Ssentongo is the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of the Pennsylvania Coalition Against Human Trafficking, which aims to educate and empower communities in combatting human trafficking. Dr. Ssentongo also serves as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Franklin & Marshall College and has worked as a Senior Consultant for IQVIA. Academically, Dr. Ssentongo holds a Doctor of Public Health degree focused on Epidemiology and Biostatistics, an MBA in Health Care Administration, and a Master of Public Health in Health Policy, all from Penn State, along with a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience.
