Farshad Rajabipour

Farshad Rajabipour is a distinguished academic with extensive experience in civil and environmental engineering. Serving as the Interim Head of the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Penn State University since August 2009, Farshad has held the positions of Professor, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor during tenure at the institution. Prior to this role, Farshad was an Assistant Professor at the University of Hawaii at Manoa from August 2007 to July 2009. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Civil Engineering with a focus on Materials from Purdue University, obtained in 2006; a Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering from Purdue University in 2003; and a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Civil Engineering from Sharif University of Technology, completed in 2000.
