Nicholas Smerker

Nicholas Smerker is a Senior Teaching & Learning with Technology Specialist at Penn State University, where since October 2010, Nicholas has served as a traveling consultant for the Media Commons, enhancing new media training and support in classrooms statewide. Previous roles include Webmaster at Frank Lloyd Wright's House on Kentuck Knob from 2014 to 2023, and Learning Design Specialist at Signum University & Mythgard Institute from July 2011 to September 2015, where Nicholas was a founding partner focusing on online liberal arts education. Additional experience includes serving as an Instructional Technologist at Washington College from April 2007 to October 2010 and as an Instructional Developer at Pennsylvania State University from September 2003 to April 2007, both roles involved providing multimedia and technology services in educational settings. Nicholas holds a Bachelor's degree in Integrative Arts from Penn State University, earned in 2005.
