Steve Blake

Steve Blake, M.Ed., FCEP, currently serves as a Gift Planning Officer at Penn State University, a role held since September 2010, where responsibilities include inspiring philanthropic relationships and ensuring donor intent is honored. Blake has held various leadership positions in fundraising and development across multiple educational institutions, including Director of Major Gifts at Penn State's Smeal College of Business and Senior Director of Major Gifts and Planned Giving at Mercersburg Academy. Prior experience includes significant roles at Bucknell University, University of Rhode Island, Northern Kentucky University, and several others, all contributing to a successful career in higher education fundraising that has resulted in millions of dollars in philanthropic support. Blake holds a B.S. in Mass Communication from Towson University and an M.Ed. in Sport Administration from Xavier University.
