Tammy Hinkle is currently the Vice President and Controller at Penn Virginia. Tammy began their career in the oil and gas industry in 2007 as the Joint Interest Accounting Manager at Forest Oil Corporation. In this role, they managed 8 employees and was responsible for all Joint Interest accounting functions for the Southern Business Unit. Tammy also communicated with partners on a regular basis, prepared accruals for well costs monthly, and calculated, billed out, and escalated monthly producing and drilling overhead costs as per the JOA and COPAS.

In December 2008, Tammy joined Rosetta Resources as the Manager of Operations Accounting - JI, Property, and Revenue. In this role, they managed up to 15 employees, including both professional and clerical staff in the Joint Interest, Accounts Payable, Property, and Revenue functions. Tammy also worked on divestitures and acquisitions, system implementations, and special projects.

In April 2011, Tammy became the Controller at Gulf Coast Energy Resources, LLC. In this role, they were responsible for all aspects of financial reporting for the company.

In June 2013, Tammy returned to Penn Virginia Corporation as the Director of Oil and Gas Accounting

Tammy Hinkle graduated from West Virginia Wesleyan College with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting and a minor in Economics. Tammy worked in the accounting field for several years before returning to school to earn their Master of Science Degree in Taxation from Georgetown University.
