Corey Brubakken

Corey Brubakken has extensive experience in law enforcement and wellness coordination, currently serving as the Wellness Coordinator at Pennington County Sheriff's Office since August 2020. Prior to this role, Corey held the position of Captain at the same office from August 1997 to April 2020, where responsibilities included oversight of investigative functions, supervision of various staff, budget management, and liaising with multiple agencies. Corey began a career in child protection services with the South Dakota Department of Social Services from September 1989 to August 1997. An education background includes a Bachelor of Social Work in Criminal Justice from Minnesota State University Moorhead and ongoing training at the FBI National Academy since 2014.
