Thad Mason

Thad Mason has extensive law enforcement experience with the Pennington County Sheriff's Office since September 2004, serving as a Deputy Sheriff and Team Leader for the Special Response Team, along with previously holding the position of Correctional Officer. Prior to this role, Thad Mason worked as a Correctional Officer at the Pennington County Jail from September 2004 to January 2007 and served as a Loss Prevention Manager at Dans Supermarket from October 2001 to September 2004. Thad Mason earned an Associate's degree in Homeland Security, Law Enforcement, Firefighting, and Related Protective Services from Western Dakota Technical Institute between 2000 and 2002.
