Chief Counsel To The Speaker Of The House at Pennsylvania House of Representatives

Diane Acri has a diverse and extensive work experience in various roles within the Pennsylvania House of Representatives and Senate. Diane started their career in 1995 as a Budget Analyst for the PA House of Representatives' Appropriations Committee. From there, they became an Assistant Counsel for the PA Liquor Control Board in 2002 before returning to the PA House of Representatives' Appropriations Committee as a Counsel in 2004. In 2006, they joined Greenlee Partners, LLC as a Senior Associate & Counsel until 2014. At that point, they transitioned to the Senate of Pennsylvania as the Deputy Counsel, a position they held until 2021. Currently, Diane serves as the Chief Counsel to the Speaker of the House at the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, starting in February 2022.

Diane Acri has a diverse education history. Diane attended Penn State University from 1980 to 1985, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Medical Anthropology. Diane then pursued further education at Elizabethtown College, completing a Post-Baccalaureate Degree Program in Accounting from 1991 to 1992. Later, from 1997 to 2000, Diane attended Widener University Commonwealth Law School, where they earned a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree.
