Daniel Egusquiza

Daniel Egusquiza is Outreach Coordinator at Reading Public Library and the founder of Barrio Alegría, a volunteer-run community arts organization serving the Hispanic and Latinx community that uses art as a tool for transformative, multicultural community engagement and development. Daniel uses storytelling, art, and dance to create a welcoming space that builds up a neighborhood of sharing and collaboration. His work focuses on uplifting under-funded or represented Latinx artists and investing in future leaders. Daniel has served as an advisor to PHC library projects, partnered and presented on research by Penn Praxis, and been a Pop Up grantee.
