Lahrsen Harper, CPA, CFE has a background encompassing various roles in finance and accounting. Starting in 2014, they worked as an Audit Intern at PwC before becoming an Audit Experienced Associate in 2015. In 2017, Lahrsen joined JMI Equity as part of the Accounting & Finance team, where they focused on working with software companies. After a year, they transitioned to Michael Moecker & Associates, serving as a Case Manager and Forensic Accountant, assisting businesses with operational and financial challenges. Currently, Lahrsen is the Assistant Director of Finance & Admin at the Pennsylvania State Education Association, where they utilize their expertise to support the organization's financial and administrative functions.
Lahrsen Harper, CPA, CFE, obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Maryland, where they studied from 2012 to 2015. Additionally, during the same period, they also completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Information Systems, General at the University of Maryland.
In January 2017, Lahrsen Harper obtained their Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification from the AICPA. Later, in December 2019, they obtained a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) certification from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE).

PSEA represents the labor, policy, and professional interests of 178,000 public school teachers and education support professionals, staff in state higher education institutions, nurses in health care facilities, retired educators, and college students preparing to become teachers. PSEA bargains compensation and benefits for members, protects their rights, and advocates for their professions. We are a strong voice for public education and working families in Pennsylvania.
