Abigail Browning's work experience begins in 1988 when they worked as a Senior Editor at Penny Press, Inc. Abigail was responsible for overseeing the production of the Logic Puzzle magazine line and managing an editorial staff. In 1999, they joined Penny Publications, LLC where they held various roles. From 1999 to 2009, they served as the Manager of Internet Sales & Marketing, overseeing the development and marketing of e-commerce and support websites. Simultaneously, they also worked as the Manager of Subsidiary Rights and Licensing, packaging puzzle content and short stories for licensing purposes. In 2010, they were promoted to the role of Director of Marketing, E-Commerce and Brand Licensing, where they currently work.

Abigail Browning obtained their Bachelor's degree in Textile Science from Cornell University in 1981. Subsequently, they pursued further education at the same institution, completing their Master's degree in Biomedical Applications from Cornell University in 1984.
