Software Engineering Manager at Pennylane

Damien Milon has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Damien began their professional career as a Software Engineer at ENGIE in 2012 and then worked as a Research Assistant at Polytechnique and Tokyo Institute of Technology in 2012 and 2013, respectively. Damien later joined EDF as a Nuclear Core Reactor Physics Engineer in 2014, followed by a position as a Nuclear Core Reactor Physics Engineer at Framatome from 2015 to 2017. In 2018, they transitioned to the software engineering field and worked as a Software Engineer at Les Couronnes de Victoire & Victoire Studio Paris by Les Couronnes de Victoire from 2018 to 2019. Damien also had short-term roles as a Software Engineer at In The Memory and Poulpe (by WOÔ) in 2019. From 2019 to 2022, Damien worked at Le Wagon as a Teacher, Lead Software Engineer, and Head of Web Curriculum. Currently, they are employed at Pennylane, where they hold the position of Software Engineer and Engineering Team Lead since 2022.

Damien Milon obtained an Engineering degree - MSc and École polytechnique's diploma in Energy Engineering from École Polytechnique during the period of 2009 to 2013. Damien then pursued a Mines Paris Master's degree in Science and Executive Engineering - MSc in Nuclear Engineering at Mines Paris from 2013 to 2014. In 2018, Damien attended Le Wagon for Web Development. Prior to their higher education, they studied Mathematics, Physics, and Engineering Sciences at Lycée Saint Louis from 2007 to 2009.
